Frequently Asked Questions

It’s fabulous! The French Riviera has a special microclimate so it’s not too hot in the summer nor too cold in the winter. You can enjoy the brilliant blue skies of the Côte d’Azur and al fresco dining all through the year.  Please follow the links below for the latest information.

Prior to your arrival we will coordinate with you your arrival details, including how you plan to reach Nice and Moulin-sur-Mer and we will meet you at the home and take a little time to acquaint you with everything about the apartment, how everything functions, give you tips about the town, and answer any questions you may have. Prior to your arrival we will also send you information about Nice to help you get pre-acquainted with the area before you arrive. And we are always available for calls or help afterwards, as we along with our staff also live in Nice. Whether you are coming from someplace nearby or from all the way around the world, our aim is to make your arrival easy and comfortable, so you can quickly settle in and begin enjoying the great lifestyle available on the Côte d’Azur.

Like most of the traditional Niçoise Old Town buildings, there is no lift (elevator).  Moulin-sur-Mer is on the third floor and accessed by a stairwell.

We will be at Moulin-sur-Mer to greet you after 3 p.m. for check-in and will be back before 10 a.m. on the day of check-out.

We are able to supply a baby cot if needed at no extra charge but ask you to bring your own baby blanket. Please note, Moulin-sur-Mer is not ideal for toddlers and young children because of the safety issue of being on the third floor and having a balcony.

No, you don’t need a car to get to Moulin-sur-Mer or for getting around once you arrive. There are many sights to see and activities to do within an easy walk.  You will also be very close to an excellent public transport system allowing you to easily visit all of the major sites along the Côte d’Azur by bus or train.

However, if you are planning to visit the countryside or to drive to Provence and beyond for a few days, you may want to rent a car (if only for part of your visit). Please note that we do not have a designated parking place but you will be able to find parking in one of the nearby undercover parking garages.
